Fisher & Sons (Fakenham) Ltd. were established in 1885 as a traditional builders, and H Bullen in 1895 started as a construction company with an emphasis on joinery and carpentry. The two companies joined the Carter Group in 1935 and 1947 respectively and in 2009, they merged as Fisher•Bullen.
The skills and experience of craftsmen over this period has resulted in a host of accolades and accreditations. This is supported through continued training and development ensuring that we will continue to offer quality construction activities well into the future.
We execute work exclusively for discerning clients ranging from the smallest of maintenance works to major new build, domestic, commercial, retail and industrial developments. Our service includes the restoration, conservation, refurbishment, alterations and repairs to a wide spectrum of buildings and structures throughout the region and beyond, a small example of which can be found on the following pages.
We have close links to our sister company Bullen Joinery, which can produce bespoke joinery in both hardwood and softwood, purpose-made to suit customers’ requirements. We remain proud of our history and reputation and are confident that in today’s construction market, our policy of continuous and sustained improvement in quality, production and skill will serve us well into the future.
Our plumbing and electrical team specialises in maintenance work, and can also quote for new installations.
Fisher•Bullen is part of a larger construction group, giving us access to the management resources and technical skills of a much larger building firm.
